Hi, my name is Meredeth

I am a junior biomedical engineering student at the University of Delaware with a minor in biomechanics. I have always had a love for creative projects and I am always looking for new problems to solve. My creative outlet was originally focused on my passion for art, but finally, I landed on pursuing a career in engineering where I could make my ideas come to life. My primary interests include the design and manufacturing of medical devices, prosthetics, and orthotics. Recently I have gained experience in research labs where I am analyzing the loading of the Achilles tendon in healthy participants and I am creating a tissue engineering device that can be used to grow and mechanically test tissue with.

I hope to pursue a master's in either robotics, medical device development, or biomedical engineering. I am excited to continue learning, strengthening my skills, and I cant wait to see what else I create!
